Comparison of subjective and objective accommodation amplitude values

چکیده
Aim: Comparison of accommodation amplitude values measured using autorefractometer, push up and minus lens technique.
Material Method: In this randomized, prospective study, both eyes 75 healthy individuals between the ages 15 40 were included in study. They divided into 5 groups as 15-20 age group 1, 21-25 2, 26-30 3, 31-35 4, 36-40 To measure amplitude, technique used subjective methods, autorefractometer Tonoref III was objective. The correlation measurement methods reproducibility autorefractory measurements evaluated. addition, changes with age, gender pupil diameter investigated.
Results: mean 4.86±1.73 D technique, 8.79±4.58 2.77±1.93 measurement. Autorefractometer found to decrease significantly (p=0.000). It seen that autorefractometry significant correlated (p=0.000, r=0.47, p=0.001, r=0.28, respectively). Intraclass coefficients be 0.935.
Conclusion: Objective made but lower detected compared methods.

Subjective and objective measurement of human accommodative amplitude.
PURPOSE To assess objective and subjective methods to measure accommodation in a young human population. SETTING Research laboratory, University of Houston, College of Optometry, Houston, Texas, USA. METHODS Accommodation was measured in the right eye of 15 young subjects (9 women and 6 men) whose ages ranged from 23 to 28 years and 1 36-year-old subject. The mean age of all subjects was 26...
متن کاملSubjective and objective probability effects on P300 amplitude revisited.
Does objective probability affect P300 size independently and in addition to subjective probability? The latter was manipulated by the number of stimuli presented and classification task. Five groups saw target and frequent stimuli. Two saw these with p=.2 or .067, with two different button presses. Three groups saw two additional nontarget stimuli each with p=.067. One group pressed a differen...
متن کاملComparison of subjective and objective measurement of sweat transfer rate.
Sweat absorption is investigated using the subjective and objective methods. The subjective investigation analyses the physiological responses of male and female volunteers wearing two kinds of textile fabrics (cotton and polyester) during certain physical activity. The subjects were exposed to the different conditions of ambient temperature (23, 26, 29 and 32 degrees C) and constant relative h...
متن کاملAn Objective and Subjective Comparison of Audio Restoration Systems
This paper presents thc results of a perceptual test to evaluate the quality of different audio restoration algorithms based on Short Time Spectral Attenuation method and on Kalman filter. The protocol by International Communication Union (1TU.R P.800) was used. A set of audio stimuli played with different instruments (i.e. different bandwidths, transients, and timbre) was selected and differen...
متن کاملComparison of fixation disparities obtained by objective and subjective methods
Fixation disparities (FD) were measured as a function of forced vergence using binocular scleral search coils and simultaneously with nonius lines. The slope of the objective FD curve was significantly greater than the subjective FD curve for three of five subjects. This indicates an alteration in retinal correspondence of up to one degree, that shifts Panum's area to avoid the diplopia normall...
